1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Cali Candela ("Cali Candela," "we," "us," or "our"), a nightlife entertainment brand operated as a DBA of Cali Canvas Marketing, collects, uses, and shares information through calicandela.com (the "Site"), our event ticketing flow, our contact and sign-up forms, including the Candela List opt-in widget, and our electronic communications.
2. Information We Collect
- Contact information: name, mobile number, email address, and communication preferences submitted through our forms.
- Event and ticketing information. Ticket purchases are processed by our third party ticketing partner, Eventbrite, Inc. We may receive limited order details from Eventbrite, such as name, email, and ticket type, to manage event check in and send event specific communications.
- Payment information, which is collected and processed directly by Eventbrite. We do not collect or store your payment card information.
- Website usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, dates and times of access, and referring URLs, typically collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Communication consent records, including whether you opted in to email or SMS communications, and the date, time, source, and exact disclosure language presented to you at the time of opt-in.
- Any other information you voluntarily provide when contacting us, including through the Candela List sign-up widget or the general contact form.
3. How We Collect Information
- Directly from you when you complete a form on the Site, including the Candela List opt-in widget and the general contact form.
- From Eventbrite, when you purchase a ticket to a Cali Candela event.
- Automatically through cookies, analytics tools, and server logs.
4. How We Use Information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our events.
- Send promotional emails about upcoming events, presales, and offers, only to individuals who have opted in.
- Send promotional SMS or text messages about events and offers, only to individuals who have given express written consent.
- Send transactional or event specific communications, such as entry instructions, to ticket holders.
- Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact forms.
- Analyze Site usage to improve user experience.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
5. SMS Privacy Terms
If you opt in to text messaging through the Candela List widget or any other form on the Site, Cali Candela may send recurring automated text messages regarding upcoming events, presale codes, lineup announcements, ticket reminders, venue or schedule changes, and related informational messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Text consent is optional and is never a condition of purchasing a ticket or any other service.
Participating carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may include, without limitation, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and U.S. Cellular.
We maintain records of SMS consent, including the mobile number submitted, the source of opt-in, the date and time of consent, and the exact disclosure language in effect at the time of opt-in, for as long as reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party except vendors or service providers that help us deliver messages, host systems, or operate the program on our behalf, including our SMS platform provider, and only as needed to provide those services under appropriate confidentiality and data protection controls.
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by emailing [email protected]. You may opt out of email communications at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every promotional email.
6. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information:
- To service providers that support our website, ticketing, email and SMS platforms, and analytics, including Eventbrite.
- To comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or lawful governmental request.
- To protect the rights, safety, or property of Cali Candela, Cali Canvas Marketing, our guests, performers, venue partners, or the public.
- As part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to customary safeguards.
- With your direction or consent.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, suppress repeat sign up prompts, and understand how visitors use our pages. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect certain Site functionality.

The Site is not directed to individuals under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Many Cali Candela events are restricted to guests 21 years of age or older where alcohol is served by the venue. Age requirements for specific events are listed on the applicable Eventbrite listing, and our SMS and email programs are intended for individuals 18 and older.
10. Data Security and Retention
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and to comply with our legal, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations, including consent recordkeeping described in Section 5.
11. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third party sites, including Eventbrite and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies separately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
